The beauty of our location in Prestatyn is its peace and quiet, along with easy access to beautiful sea and countryside, that makes it perfect for short breaks or long laid back holidays.

Your caravan is nestled behind the sand dunes, a stone’s throw from the beach at Lyons Lido Beach Holiday Park, and just a couple of minutes walk from award winning Blue Flag beaches and golden sands stretching for miles both east and west.

It’s the perfect spot to take the dog for a splash along the shore or just sit and watch the tide roll away. Take a stroll along the coastal path and see families building sandcastles or flying kites on the beaches.

Our roomy privately owned caravan has three bedrooms; a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a pull-up double bed in the living room. The maximum occupancy is eight. Children are very welcome as this is the perfect place for a family holiday. Pets are also welcome by arrangement. Sorry no smoking or same sex groups.

Duvets and pillows will be provided but please bring your own bed linen and towels. Rather than you have to shop for cleaning products, toilet paper, kitchen towels, etc., and lug them back, they are all provided. All I ask is that guests replace items if they happen to be the person who finishes them.

Outside, French doors open onto balcony decking with views of the Clwydian Range, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is also a patio with table and chairs and a grassed area for off road parking.

A five minute walk along the seafront brings you to the Nova Centre which boasts a swimming pool, soft play area for little ones and a fitness suite. Perfect for a rainy day’s entertainment or a sea view in the Gusto bar restaurant and café with a leisurely meal.

Around the corner the circular café Cymru and an outdoor children’s playground, a Crazy Golf Course and Amusement Centre. A brisk 15 minute walk further still to the Sailing Club and Golf Club. If you’re feeling energetic hire bikes and take the North Wales coastal cycle path. The famous Offa’s Dyke Path which straddles the Welsh English border begins or ends here on Central Beach. There’s even horse riding at Bridlewood, five miles away stands the Point of Ayr Lighthouse at Talacre, this area is a noted birdwatchers paradise, you can also see the Duke of Lancaster ship.

Nestled between the rolling hills and the lush beaches…

Discover Prestatyn

Lido Beach is a homely, quiet and friendly family owned site with a small café/take away, a launderette, children’s play area, tennis and soft ball courts (site map).

From Lido Beach a five minute walk takes you into Prestatyn town, passing the railway station. From here you can take a five minute journey to the Seaquarium or Suncenter in Rhyl or maybe let the train take the strain for a day trip east to Chester or west to Llandudno.

Up and coming, Prestatyn has an array of individual shops and four days a week holds a market or car boot sale. The new retail park includes Tesco and M&S. On and around the High Street there is pottery painting, yoga, pubs and restaurants, a Cinema and Art Centre, a beautiful church and Artisan’s collective. There is a café for every day of the week!

Locally there is an indoor bowls centre, windsurfing and sailing, sea fishing, Bodrhyddan Gardens, Rhuddlan castle and Rhaedr Waterfall. The hillside inland of Prestatyn forms the start of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
